The contours have been deepened in all the right places, from the unusual belly-cut that feels extra-snug against the body, to the thankfully smooth contouring of back of the single horn and the rounded heel and neckplate, granting access to the 22nd fret with an unprecedented level of comfort and ease when it comes to Tele models. This guitar also supports fast work thanks to the tight feel of the compound fretboard radius and set of highly durable, long-life, stainless-steel, medium-jumbo frets.

Classic Tele Sound Free of the Classic Hum

Plug in the Ultra Luxe and you're immediately greeted by classic and familiar Tele tone and the full support of the traditional three-way switch and single tone and volume pot controls. Both of the mounted Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele single-coils wield tight Alnico-V sound with a little extra gain than standard, while maintaining a clean, hum-free signal, and by popping the volume pot, the S-1 switch is activated, placing both pickups in parallel for thicker, humbucker style output. Backing all of this up with stable intonation and firm tuning is a smooth-operating TUSQ nut and a set of Fender's own Deluxe Staggered locking tuners.
